the drama that is... real life

A person's life is more colorful than what one can see through media. In real life, the images that you see and the sounds that you hear generate more passion and reaction from the audience for they are also the players in the drama that is... real life

Away From Home

After 11 hours of continous flight, care of PAL, I stepped on US soil last April 27, 2006. It was a very loooong trip! my feet hurt then. Today, almost 5 days of being an immigrant, I found myself, siting in front of the computer of my cousin's home in Daly City, California. He hasn't seen me since I was a wee baby and yet he had welcomed me to his home with open arms.
My colleagues and I, (there were six of us Global Care Nurses on that flight) saw the good in Fipino immigrants here in the states. We were welcomed by loving long lost family and friends. A friend has shown us around and even brought us to a tour in Lake Tahoe even just two days of being here! How lucky! We are even treated to free lunch and dinner through generous friends.
People are nice and accomodating. Thank you Lord!
